An Affair of the Heart of Tulsa, Tulsa’s largest unique marketplace showcasing artisans, crafters and boutiques from across the country, will return to Tulsa’s River Spirit Expo at Expo Square Friday, July 11 through Sunday, July 13.
The show features approximately 130,000 square feet of merchandise including everything from handmade jewelry and up-cycled furniture to gourmet foods, home décor, personalized gifts and much more. There will be more than 450 local and national artisans and independent retailersrepresenting over 20 states displaying their goods in 850 booths in one building. The show provides shoppers with a unique opportunity to browse hundreds of retailers from across the nation selling unique, one-of-a-kind items celebrating the craft, skill, art and style of the vendor.
“Putting on this show every year is truly a labor of love, but we’re honored to be able to provide this type of opportunity to so many independent artists and small business owners throughout the country,” said Eleanor Blakeman, founding partner. “We feel blessed to be able to help discover new talent and introduce their crafts to the Tulsa region.”
In 1985 the first An Affair of the Heart show took place in Oklahoma City attracting 60 booths and 800 attendees. In 1995, the franchise was expanded to Tulsa. By 2007, a second show was added in Tulsa. This June the franchise will debut in San Antonio.
The An Affair of the Heart shows are committed to showcasing talented artisans, crafters and independent retailers to the public in support of their crafts and the entire arts and crafts industry.
